At 3Dental, we provide a wide range of dental implant treatments from single tooth to whole mouth.
The types of implant treatment we offer are single implant, multiple teeth, teeth on a bridge, right up to full mouth replacements.
So if you have a full mouth of teeth that you need replaced with implants, we can do that aswell.

Your Initial Consultation
You can contact us by phone, email, or in person at one of our clinics to arrange your free consultation.
We will discuss the problems you currently have, then carry out an examination of your mouth followed by a three dimensional CT scan.
We require a €50, fully refundable, no-obligation deposit to book the appointment.
A CT scan is often needed to assess suitability for implant treatment. We offer CT scans at the initial consultation for a discounted price of €50 (regularly €150) for use only in 3Dental.

What are the alternatives to dental implants, and when would these be preferable?
One alternative is a dental bridge, which involves placing a dental restoration (pontic) between two crowns anchored onto adjacent natural teeth.

Dr. Doherty studied dentistry at Trinity College in Dublin, where he was awarded a scholarship, and graduated in 2003. His first year after graduation was spent as a House Officer at Dublin Dental Hospital, gaining a vast amount of experience across several different dental specialties. He then moved to private practice in Ireland.
Following this, he spent five years in North East England where he worked in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
During this time, he studied implant dentistry at Newcastle Dental Hospital and graduated in 2011. He has travelled extensively to Europe and the USA, furthering his knowledge and abilities with world-renowned experts in the field of implant dentistry, enabling him to provide his patients with the most advanced treatments currently available.
He has limited his practice to dental implants, and really enjoys giving patients their smiles and their confidence back.

Dr. Jones graduated from the University of Bilbao in 2010. He worked in private practice for 3 years doing general dentistry as well as oral surgery and implants. He completed a postgraduate dental implant training program in 2012.
After gaining experience in many fields of dentistry and working with different specialist he decided to move to Ireland in 2013. He worked in private practice for another 3 years dedicated mainly to dental implants, oral surgery and restorative dentistry before joining the 3Dental team early in 2017.
Since graduation, he has completed numerous courses and training programs in Europe and America, becoming more specialized in the fields of dental implants and periodontal surgery, which he has a special passion for.
He believes that continuous postgraduate education never ends and it’s fundamental to update knowledge and skills. Dr. Jones has also lectured and published articles in the field of dental implants.

Dr Uribarri studied dentistry at Alfonso X University in Madrid, where she was awarded a scholarship and graduated in 2011. Following this, she completed a two-year Master's degree in both Oral Surgery and Implantology and a Master's degree in Dental Sciences in 2013.
She has spent most of her working time as a medical director while performing complex surgeries and oral rehabilitation. In 2020 she completed a three-year Master's degree in Periodontology specialising in Mucogingival Surgery. She has limited her practice to dental implants, oral surgery, periodontics and prosthodontics, and she is continuously updating her knowledge and skills. She has also lectured and published articles on periodontics and dental implants.
Andrea decided to pursue implant dentistry because she wanted to help people living with discomfort whose self-esteem suffered because of the embarrassment of missing teeth.

Dr Xavier Borras is originally from Barcelona, Spain. He qualified in 2005 as a general nurse at UAB University (Barcelona) and completed a post-graduate diploma in pre-hospital emergency care. Xavier worked for ten years in the A&E department of a private hospital in Barcelona (Clinica Diagonal). He became familiar with a vast number of medical conditions, medication management and therapeutic techniques.
In 2012, Dr Xavier Borras qualified as a dentist at the International University of Catalonia and completed a post-graduate course in endodontics. In 2014, he moved to Dublin and registered with the Irish Nursing Council and the Irish Dental Council and started working in nursing homes and dental practices.
During all this time, he continued expanding his knowledge in dentistry and facial cosmetics treatments, attending and completing several courses in the UK (Basic and advanced dermal fillers and Botox, PRP facial rejuvenation, Micro-needling, IV sedation, Fast Braces®, Quick Straight Teeth®, 6 Months Smile®, Lumineers® Veneers). In January 2020, Dr Xavier Borras completed the International Master in Implants of the UCAM University (Barcelona, Madrid, New York, Veracruz and Rio de Janeiro).
